But you see, that just isn't the truth. The TRUTH IS, when it comes to Cybersecurity, there is no such thing as "Bells & Whistles".
Remember, proper cybersecurity is about "Defence in Depth". Put simply, this means your security solution is designed around "multiple layers of security" that are all designed to reinforce and build upon the others.
You see, in this approach, should one layer fail, then, by design, the next layer is your failsafe, and so on down the chain.
Simply put, you cannot have too many layers of security. It's about finding a balance between productivity and security, and absolutely, there is a right way, and a wrong way to do this.
Folks, many times when small business owners do not understand this, or what a proper cybersecurity solution should look like, they default to what they know and understand, which often is price.
This has led to cybersecurity incidents like ransomware and data breaches at mass.
This is also why cybercrime is one of the fastest growing industries globally.
It's an unfortunate reality, but it is a fact, the bad guys have made a full-time, very profitable business out exploiting hardworking people just like you.
