But you see, that just isn’t the truth. The TRUTH IS, as a wise woman once said, kidnappers do not kidnap your children because they are trying to start a family. They kidnap your kids because YOU want your kids, and it is YOU who wants them back safe and sound.

When it comes to cybercrime, the information on your computer systems is no different. While it may be true that they do not care about your data, they know that YOU care, that its valuable to YOU, and that YOU want it back.

They also know that leaking it to the dark web will harm YOU, your employees, your customers, and YOUR reputation.

You see, Small Businesses are typically at higher risk of cyberattacks, because they have fewer resources, and low, or non-existent IT budgets in place to deal with these types of attacks, and this makes them an easy target.
