Microsoft Teams is an excellent tool for collaboration and communication that many of us rely on while working with our colleagues. It's a great way to quickly share information.
However, according to new research, almost HALF of employees frequently share confidential and sensitive files on Teams. Even worse, 51% say they have shared business-critical information. And 48% sent a message that they shouldn't have, perhaps even to the wrong person.
If you only use a secure work device, this is not a problem.
However, if your employees use unsecured personal devices to send files, you could have a MAJOR security issue.
Ensure that everyone is aware of the dangers of sharing data on personal devices and what safeguards will keep data safe.
